The Heating Controls Wiring course is intended for Gas Safe registered engineers who are looking to add value to their customers, provide exceptional service and create an additional income stream to their business. Remeber, every time you call an electrician to do this work for you, your money is going in his/her pocket.

WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE THIS COURSE?

Candidates will need to be experienced Gas Safe registered engineers or working for a company that is Gas Safe registered.  They will require a good level of literacy and numeracy to ensure they are able to gain the most out of the course.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?

The Heating Controls Wiring Course is 1 day.  Each day commencing at 08:30 and finishing approximately 16:30

COURSE CONTENT

It is well known in the Gas and Electrical industry that there is a skills shortage for engineers that can wire heating controls such as dual zone programmers, frost stats, room stats, NEST controls, cylinder stats 2 port S-plan and 3 port Y plan systems.

It is also well known that Gas engineers will not touch many faults to do with heating systems due to a lack of confidence and understanding of the wiring side of the controls. This lack of understanding causes a loss of revenue for the engineer as they will often pay £2-300 pounds for an Electrician to do the wiring work for them.

​

Then we have the issue that when an electrician arrives he will not touch heating controls because he/she lacks the skills required to undertake the job.
